Furthermore, in order to get to the root of the weight problem that is lurking in our ‘fat’ mind it is important to tell the fact as you see them, plain and simple. Without a shadow of doubt, you must honestly tell the story of your weight situations. In this journal you must write as if you are confessing to your note book as your priest or pastor. Be clear  about those times when you gained weight and the situations, changes or stresses you have experienced.

It should be within one  year of that time when such things happened. Do this for when you first gained weight and for later times when your weight increased. Then write ‘Feelings Letters’ about each of the situations, changes or stresses that occurred. Remember ‘knowing your problems is half solving them’ Get my drift?

Next let roll over to the second answered journal number two. Any objection? If ‘no’, let’s proceed on! Right?

Unanswered Journal 2- How would you list The Stages?

Believe me, it is NOT a moment too early, it may already be a second too late when we talk about the  purpose of this journal. The fact of the matter is that we need to recognize the development process, how your weight problem developed in stages.

Trust me, time is ticking away and is getting shorter, we must therefore without any delay  note the key points when (1) stress mounted, (2) balance was lost (going slightly unbalanced is no longer comforting) and (3) overeating and inactivity. At least write one Feeling Letter. It’s imperative all this must be written down as putting things in black and white solidifies our thoughts and feeling in a hard copy. Which we can see and hold is indeed excellent!

Unanswered Journal 3. Did you undergo Strong Nurturing?

Okay, before you get your knickers all twisted into knots, stop, take a deep breath, and reflect on this particular piece of information. Please, please and please describe (1) the body pride of your parents, (2) the body pride they showed toward you, (3) ,what they taught you about body pride and (4) the ways you have or have not had body pride as an adult. Believe me these four (4) descriptions on our body are very essential. It demands that we be frank and state what we have reflected on our body.

Knowing our actions and reactions of our body does help us to get a healthier and slimmer body. You can bet your eye balls on this. Hence, you should also write at least one letter. This written expression does help tremendously.

Unanswered Journal 4. How did you maintain good Health?

May I say something here before we proceed! I have only peeled back the first few layers of this journal writing thing but if you really want to get the truth we are going to get a little more personal. Ok? At all cost and without hesitation please truthfully tell the story of your health.

Specifically, think about your daily awareness of your body’s health, vigilant self-care and effective health care. Describe (1) how your parents took care of their health. [2J the ways they attended to your health. (3) What they taught you about taking care of your health (4) how you have taken care of your health in your adult years. Write one or more letters. Get my point of view? I hope so because it’s very important if I may say so myself!

As we are nearly to the last of the unanswered journal don’t be lulled into this last journal. Believe me it is just as important or even more so!

Let’s give a loud shot to unanswered journal number five! Should we?

Unanswered Journal 5. Was this Mastery Living practiced?

By the way, are you getting into this, or it is rubbing you the wrong way? Anyhow, without further ado, I’ll get straight to the point. Again, please tell the unvarnished truth regarding the story of your lifestyle, especially taking time each day for exercise and meaningful activities and to time to restore yourself. Describe (1) how  your parent lived (2)how you lived as a child (3) what your parents taught you about achieving   a healthy, fulfilling life and (4) how you have lived  in adulthood. Write at least one letter. Simple enough, right?

Let’s then do a quick recap! In essence the important unanswered journalized questions are firstly, ‘What about Your Weight Story?’ Secondly, ‘How would you list The Stages?’ Thirdly, ‘Did you undergo Strong Nurturing?’ Fourthly, ‘How did you maintain good Health? And lastly, ‘Was this Mastery Living practiced?’

                        In conclusion, let me say this. And there is no two ways about it. Only successful dieters aren’t afraid to do things their way to find tactics that really work for them And to use them when they work for them. Along the road to change, lapses are inevitable for anyone. But in and of themselves, they’re not necessarily setbacks; it all depends on how you handle them. Changing unhealthy habits involves predictable stages, researchers have found.  With this article, if you can identify the stage of your weight loss program where you are, you can take steps to spur yourself forward.
